Little Healers: Animal Messages A–Z
A gentle way to listen… for you and your child
There are moments in life where something opens quietly…
not in a loud, dramatic way,
but in a way that feels like remembering.
That’s how this began for me.
After my Reiki Master/Teacher attunement, something shifted.
When I was working with clients, I started noticing that animals would come into my awareness.
Not something I was trying to do.
Not something I was searching for.
They would just… arrive.
A butterfly.
A jellyfish.
A fox.
Each time, the animal would come through with a feeling, a message, a sense of what needed to be understood, softened, or seen.
And every single time, it was (and still is) exactly what the person needed.
How Animal Messages Began to Speak
At first, I questioned it.
Was I imagining this?
Was I making meaning out of something random?
But over time, as I gently shared what I was receiving, I began to see something undeniable:
The messages landed.
They resonated deeply.
They opened something.
They helped people feel seen in a way that words alone sometimes couldn’t reach.
And I realized, this wasn’t something I was creating.
It was something I was being invited to listen to.
Why I Say “Animal Messages”
I want to be very clear and intentional here.
The phrase “spirit animal” carries deep cultural and spiritual significance within Native American traditions, and it is not something I feel comfortable using outside of that context.
Out of respect, I choose to use the phrase animal messages.
This work is not about claiming or redefining something sacred to another culture.
It is simply about listening
to the way nature speaks,
to the way symbolism moves through us,
to the quiet language that meets us exactly where we are.
A Gift I Was Given
This isn’t something I trained in.
It isn’t something I learned from a book or a course.
It’s something that unfolded after my attunement,
a doorway that opened in a very natural, very unforced way.
And like everything in my work, I hold it gently.
Not as something to prove.
Not as something to perform.
But as something to offer.
Because when we slow down enough to listen…
We often find that guidance is already there.
What Animal Messages Can Look Like
Each animal carries a feeling.
A tone.
A quiet message that meets you exactly where you are.
Here are a few examples from Little Healers: Animal Messages A–Z:
🦋 Butterfly
The butterfly comes when something inside of you is changing.
Not loudly.
Not all at once.
But gently…
slowly…
in a way you might not even notice at first.
Message:
You are allowed to grow at your own pace.
You are becoming something new, even if you can’t see it yet.
This is a beautiful message for children (and adults) who are navigating change, new seasons, new emotions, and new phases of life.
🌊 Jellyfish
The jellyfish doesn’t push.
It doesn’t rush.
It moves by allowing.
Message:
You don’t always have to try so hard.
Sometimes the safest thing you can do is soften and go with the flow.
This message often comes through for those who are holding too tightly, trying to control everything, trying to get it “right.”
It reminds us that softness is not weakness.
It’s wisdom.
🦊 Fox
The fox is observant.
Quiet.
Aware of everything around it.
Message:
Trust what you notice.
You see more than you think you do.
This message is especially powerful for children who are deeply perceptive but may not yet have the language for what they feel.
Why I Created Little Healers: Animal Messages A–Z
Over time, I started noticing something else.
Children naturally understand this.
They don’t question it the way adults do.
They don’t need everything to be explained or proven.
They feel.
They imagine.
They connect.
And I thought,
What if we gave children a language for this?
What if we created something simple, gentle, and accessible that helps them explore feelings, awareness, and intuition in a safe way?
That’s how Little Healers: Animal Messages A–Z was born.
What This Book Really Is
This isn’t about memorizing meanings.
It’s not about getting it “right.”
It’s about:
Noticing what you feel
Connecting with the body
Allowing imagination and intuition to exist together
Creating space for conversation between you and your child
Each animal becomes a doorway.
A way in.
A way to ask:
What might this mean for you?
A Simple Way to Use This With Your Child
You don’t need to explain everything.
You don’t need to guide them to the “right” answer.
You can simply ask:
What do you feel when you see this animal?
Does it remind you of anything?
What do you think it’s trying to tell you?
And then… just listen.
Children will often surprise you.
They don’t need to be taught intuition.
They need space to trust it.
A Gentle Invitation
You don’t have to believe in anything specific to use this book.
You don’t have to call yourself intuitive.
You don’t have to understand energy work.
All you need is a willingness to pause…
and be curious.
Because sometimes, the message isn’t in the animal itself.
It’s in what you feel when you meet it.
If you’ve ever had a moment where something just clicked…
or felt seen in a way you couldn’t explain…
You already understand this more than you think.
And if you’re sharing this with your child—
You’re not just reading a book together.
You’re creating space for connection.
For awareness.
For trust.
And that… is one of the greatest gifts we can give. 🌿
Be Well,
Becky
