About Me
Hello, I'm Becky Payne
Holistic healing guide, skincare specialist, meditation guide, yoga teacher, and children's book author based in beautiful Maine.
If you’ve found your way here, I don’t believe it’s by accident.
Maybe you’re tired of holding it all together.
Maybe you’re craving something deeper than “self-care Sundays” and inspirational quotes.
Maybe you want healing that feels real, not performative.
So let me introduce myself in a way that feels honest.
I’m Becky Payne.
I am a Reiki Master Practitioner and teacher.
A licensed massage therapist.
A licensed esthetician.
A yoga teacher, including certified children’s yoga.
A meditation guide.
A published author of the Little Healers children’s book series.
A woman devoted to the nervous system, to embodied intuition, and to women’s healing.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Behavioral Science with a minor in Women’s Studies because I have always been deeply curious about women and how we move through systems, stories, expectations, trauma, motherhood, ambition, identity, and healing.
I have studied the body through yoga and massage therapy.
The skin and touch through esthetics.
The mind through behavioral science.
The spirit through meditation and Reiki.
I don’t separate the science from the sacred.
When I speak about the nervous system, I understand it academically and personally.
When I speak about intuition, I understand it spiritually and practically.
When I speak about trauma and healing, it is not abstract.
It is lived.
And I am not here to offer you “positive vibes only.”
There is no bypassing here.
No pretending.
No spiritual performance.
This is a space where your anger, grief, doubt, exhaustion, numbness, joy, hope, and healing all belong.
I Don’t Teach From a Pedestal
I teach from lived experience.
I am a survivor of trauma. I don’t feel the need to label it or package it neatly — but it shaped me. It broke me open. It taught me how fragile and how resilient the human nervous system can be.
It taught me what real safety feels like.
When I guide women through nervous system healing, Reiki training, meditation, or embodied practices, it’s not theoretical. It’s embodied. It’s practiced. It’s integrated into my everyday life — in my family, in my work, in how I show up.
I have done the work, and I continue to do the work.
Not because I am broken.
But because I am devoted.
Wisdom From the In-Between
I am a stepmother to two and a mother to two.
Blended families stretch you. Motherhood stretches you. Loving children you didn’t give birth to stretches you in one way; loving the ones you did stretches you in another.
Motherhood has been one of my greatest teachers.
It has taught me how to regulate myself before I try to guide anyone else.
How to sit with big emotions without trying to fix them.
How to repair.
How to begin again.
And that wisdom flows into everything I create — whether I’m offering in-studio sessions, teaching Reiki, guiding meditation, or writing about embodied intuition.
Credentials, Yes — But More Than That
Yes, I am trained.
Yes, I am licensed.
Yes, I am educated.
But my true credential is this:
I am safe.
Safe does not mean soft all the time.
Safe does not mean permissive.
Safe does not mean I will tell you what you want to hear.
Safe means your full humanity is welcome here.
You do not have to be high-vibe.
You do not have to be perfectly healed.
You do not have to hide the messy parts.
There is no judgment here.
No comparison.
No gold stars for who meditates the longest.
Only honesty. Only growth. Only the steady unfolding of who you already are beneath the noise.
A Safe Place to Land
If you are looking for someone who has it all perfectly figured out, that’s not me.
If you are looking for someone who will sit beside you — grounded, warm, and wise — while you remember your own strength…
Welcome.
You can land here.
You can unravel here.
You can grow here.
And when you’re ready, we’ll walk forward together.
Be Well,
Becky
